PowerColor’s RX 5600 XT ITX has arrived at retailers

Like most of PowerColor’s other RX 5600 XT offerings, this new model supports 14Gbps memory out of the box, a factor which will give this new model a notable advantage over older 12Gbps RX 5600 XT graphics cards. 

The RX 5600 XT 6GB ITX is cooled by a single axial fan, much like PowerColor’s larger RX 5700 ITX 8GB. With the RX 5600’s lower-end memory configuration, PowerColor’s newer model will likely run cooler than their RX 5700 equivalent, given the fact that the graphics card has two fewer GDDR6 memory modules to power. Combine this with the RX 5600 XT ITX’s lower base and boost clocks, and PowerColor’s RX 5600 XT model should require lower fan speeds than its higher-end counterpart, producing less noise in the process. 

PowerColor’s RX 5600 XT ITX has been listed on Scan UK for £299.99 with base/boost clock speeds of 1560/1620MHz. This places PowerColor’s ITX model amongst the most expensive RX 5600 XTs at the time of writing, though this high pricing could be due to the UK’s lockdown and the subsequent increase in demand for graphics cards. The graphics card is due to be in stock on April 30th. 

Size-wise, the RX 5600 XT ITX measures in at 175 x 110 x 40 mm, making it the smallest RX 5600 XT graphics card that we know of. This makes the graphics card ideal for compact gaming PCs. Output-wise the graphics card sports two DisplayPort outputs and a single HDMI 2.0b connection.
