Rainbow Six: Siege patch brings “Ultra HD” textures
Â
Rainbow Six: Siege’s latest patch brings “Ultra HD” textures on the PC and adds a punishment for team killers, automatically kicking them from games with their new Auto-kick function.Â
The new Ultra HD texture pack comes as a free DLC pack for PC players, which is designed for 4K gamers, but it can be used at lower resolutions like 1080p and 1440p. Players will need to have at least 4GB of VRAM to use this Ultra HD texture pack.Â
The patch also fixes several bugs and implements a few balance changes to prevent spawn ambushes and to prevent team killing.Â
Right now only 1.8% of matches have instances of team killing, so it is certainly in the minority, but Ubisoft say that they will continue to monitor the game and adjust their Auto-kick function accordingly.Â
