Razer’s Raptor 27 1440p 144Hz FreeSync/G-Sync Compatible monitor is now available in the US

The Razer Raptor 27 is a 27-inch 1440p 144Hz IPS monitor that offers a 1ms response time, 95% support for the DCI-P3 colour gamut and meets VESA’s HDR400 specification. Strangely, Nvidia lists this screen with a G-Sync Compatible refresh rate window of 48Hz to 165Hz, but Razer’s website lists this screen with support for a maximum refresh rate of 144Hz. This screen supports “10-bit dimming processor” which suggests that this screen supports a form of local dimming.  

When it comes to adjustment options, Razer’s Raptor 27 only supports monitor tilting and height adjustment, thanks mostly to Razor’s unique stand design. The screen ships with five green Razor cables, including three USB cables (1x USB Type-C and 2x USB 3.1 Type-A), HDMI and DisplayPort. When combined with Razer’s cable management options, this screen’s cables can offer a unique flowing effect, which is something that most others monitors lack.   

The base of Razor’s monitor stand is Razer Chroma enabled, offering users the ability to adjust the stand with 16.8 million colour options. The screen also features USB Type-C power for charging mobile devices.  

Razer’s Raptor 27 monitor is now available to order in the US. Availability in the UK and EU will come at a later date.
