Rise of the Tomb Raider – PC Graphics Settings Menu

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on January 28th, but that doesn’t mean that PC gamers can’t get a glimpse of what to expect.

Today we have for you the graphical options menu for Rise fo he Tomb Raider, the latest iteration of the Tomb Raider franchise which is finally coming to PC after it’s release on Xbox One in November of last year.

Like most other PC games we have the typical texture quality options, Anisotropic filtering options and options for Ambient occlusion, Depth of field, screen space reflections and dynamic foliage.

Sadly the only option for AA in the game is FXAA, which is a real shame which could be overcomes by forcing it in you GPU drivers.

This game is making use of the latest version of AMD’s TressFX, though this time it is using the PureHair name, which is unsurprising given the fact that this game is bundles with Nvidia GPUs.

Below are the minimum requirements for the game, confirming that that game will not be locked to Windows 10 and will be fairly easy to run, especially for a game that looks this good. Let’s hope that this game will not have any major issues on PC, as I am very much looking forward to playing this title.

MINIMUM:

    • OS: Windows 7 64bit
    • Processor: Intel Core i3-2100 or AMD equivalent
    • Memory: 6 GB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 650 2GB or AMD HD7770 2GB
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 25 GB available space

The game will be using the latest version of AMD’s TressFX, PureHair, giving the game more natural looking hair with a lesser performance hit when compared to the first iteration that was used in Tomb Raider.

Rise of the Tomb Raider reviewed very well when the game was originally release on the Xbox One last year, but had problems selling in large numbers due to launching on the same date as Fallout 4, one of the most popular releases or recent months.
