Samsung is set to reveal the world’s first “Zero-Bezel” TV at CES 2020

At CES 2020, Samsung plans to reveal a premium bezel-less TV, and plans to produce these zero-bezel screens in Q1 2020. While OLED panels, mini-LEDs and QLED technologies are all the rage in this era of HDR, it looks like Samsung has also focused on other aesthetic considerations, with its latest bezel tech being the most superficial of all.

This technology will eliminate the bezels on 65-inch and larger television screens, using a technique which closely welds the company’s display panels to their monitor’s main body. Below is a comment from a developer which worked closely with the project. This quite comes via TheElec.

Unlike other so-called ‘zero-bezel’ products that actually still had bezels, this product really doesn’t have a bezel, Samsung has become the first in the world to realize such an extreme design.

Samsung is due to start mass-producing televisions with its zero-bezel tech in February, which means that bezel-free TVs could reach the market within a year.
