Noctua’s getting ready to launch its “Noctua Edition” Thermal Grizzly WireView Pro II
“Some things are worth watching closely.” That’s what Noctua cryptically teased earlier today. While some were confused by Noctua’s image, we knew exactly what Noctua were teasing. We saw it at Computex 2026. Noctua were teasing their “Noctua Edition” version of Thermal Grizzly’s WireView Pro II, their 12V-2×6 monitoring tool.

What has changed with this Noctua Edition
With their new “Noctua Edition” variant, Thermal Grizzly isn’t simply adding Noctua fans and calling it a day. No, this new version has a unique PCB, enlarged design, and a new heatsink/thermal pad that cools the device. The original WireView Pro uses a 30mm fan, while the Noctua Edition will use a larger 40mm fan. That is why this new version required significant design changes.
At Computex 2026, der8auer (Thermal Grizzly’s co-CEO) stated the new WireView Pro II can run passively more often than its standard version. Even under 600W GPU loads, the new Noctua Edition model can run passively in high-airflow PCs.
Noctua also influenced the design of this new version of WireView Pro II. They helped optimise the fan grill design to get the most out of the fan. While it is currently unclear how much quieter this new version is than its predecessor, the fact that it can run passively for longer is a good sign. If the Noctua Edition needs its fan less often, it likely doesn’t need to run fast when it does.
Noctua’s hardware roadmap says its custom WireView Pro variant will be available in Q3 2026. This suggests the product will be available soon. Based on Noctua’s teaser, we expect the product to launch over the coming weeks. Expect this new Noctua Edition model to carry a premium price compared with its standard variant.
