Samsung’s targeting PC gamers with its new 48-inch S95H OLED gaming TV

Samsung’s new S95H OLED TV has been listed as a 2026 Honoree for Gaming and eSports, specifically their 48-inch model. With this new TV, Samsung is reportedly targeting “desktop use” and “high-end gaming”, making the screen ideal for PC gaming.

This new OLED TV features 165Hz refresh rate support, VRR, and a “category-first glare-free technology”. Furthermore, the TV claims to be the “Brightest 48-inch OLED ever”, which should give gamers an “incomparable HDR experience”.

Samsung’s 48-inch S95H claims to have a “LaserSlim” build, which could make this TV ideal for wall-mounting. It is also the “first 48-inch OLED” to feature two top-mounted speakers for immersive audio with Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Audio.

The Samsung OLED (S95H) is the world’s most advanced 48” OLED TV for high-end gaming. Combining unparalleled brightness and exceptional motion clarity with a host of gaming-specific AI enhancements, the S95H provides the ultimate competitive advantage. The S95H stands as the brightest 48” OLED ever, giving gamers an incomparable HDR experience further enhanced by its category-first Glare Free technology that eliminates distracting reflections. It also features a class-leading 165Hz VRR refresh rate for silky smooth, lag-free action. And, it comes packed with innovative AI-powered features that automatically optimize the TV’s settings and even provide genre-specific advantages—ensuring incredible performance across everything you play. Designed for desktop use, the 48” S95H features a LaserSlim build and is also the first 48” OLED with two built-in top speakers for immersive Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound—offering powerful spatial audio that puts you right in the center of the action.

CES 2026 Honoree in Gaming and eSports

Sadly, Samsung’s CES Award page listing does not give us detailed specifications for this new OLED TV. We expect the TV to support multiple HDMI 2.1 inputs and feature a 4K resolution. However, we cannot confirm how many ports this TV has, or give users exact details about is peak brightness levels and other specifications. We expect to learn more about this new OLED TV as CES 2026 progresses.
