The launch of Nvidia’s GTX 1070 Ti is coming ever closers, with new models being pictured on a regular basis. This morning two of ASUS’ GTX 1070 Ti models have been pictured, a Turbo edition with a blower-style cooler and a Strix versions with ASUS’ triple fan Strix series cooler.

Neither of these GPU models is listed with a factory GPU overclock, though both come with box art that details support for ASUS GPU Tweak, which hints that previous rumours that these new GPUs are not overclockable are false. What would the purpose of GPU-Tweak be if these GPUs couldn’t be overclocked?

It has also been rumoured that all GTX 1070 Ti models will ship with the same base/boost clock speeds at retail, regardless of the user’s chosen variant, something that is likely to due to this GPU’s specifications being so close to Nvidia’s GTX 1080, as overclocked variants could have the potential to outperform reference GTX 1080 GPUs.
