XFX releases 3D print files for its RX 9070 Quicksilver series graphics cards

XFX has officially released 3D printable files for the removable wings on its Radeon RX 9070 Quicksilver series GPUs, allowing PC gamers to customise their graphics cards easily. You can read our review of XFX’s RX 9070 Quicksilver GPU here.

These files are now available through XFX’s website, within the “Support and Downloads” section of their Quicksilver GPU web pages. They include versions with and without XFX’s logo. These models are available to be printed as-is. Additionally, these files can be modified by users to create custom designs.

Note that these files require magnets to be attached to XFX’s Quicksilver series graphics cards. Thankfully, holders for these magnets are included in XFX’s 3D models. These models are available with each wing being printable in 1-piece or 2-piece configurations. This allows these parts to be printable on almost any 3D printer.

We’re printing a set of these!

Below, you can see XFX’s models in Elego Slicer. As you can see, they can be printed on the build plate of the company’s Centuari Carbon (Review here) 3D printer. We are printing these parts so that we can attach them to our RX 9070 Quicksilver review sample (see our review here).

Note that these 3D printable files are currently only available though XFX’s website. If XFX could release these files on a site like Printables, Thingiverse, or their many alternatives, it would be easier for XFX fans to find these models online. Furthermore, it would also make it easier for fans to find custom remixes of these files.

Props to XFX for publicly releasing these files. XFX could have tried to sell these parts separately, but taking this approach opens the door to more fan creativity.
