Yeston’s RX 9070 XT Mercury Nova has serious Terminator vibes

Yeston’s RX 9070 XT Mercury Nova looks like it was pulled from a T-1000

Yeston has just unveiled its AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Mercury Nova, a graphics card that the company created alongside GravaStar. Aesthetically, the GPU’s shroud features a liquid metal styling, giving it a look more reminiscent of a component from Terminator 2’s T-1000 than a traditional graphics card.

This custom RX 9070 XT design features a triple-slot design with three cooling fans and a white PCB. The graphics card features three 8-pin PCIe power connectors, firmly positioning the GPU as a high-end RX 9070 XT model.

This GPU’s backplate design continues the liquid metal styling of this GPU. This time, it resembles a Star Wars Beskar Steel ingot more than something we would typically see on a GPU. As a lover of sci-fi, I’m not complaining about this. Honestly, it is refreshing to see something different from a modern graphics card.

All three fans on this GPU are 92mm in size. This graphics card ships with a factory overclock, giving it base and boost clock speeds of 2520/3060 MHz. That’s a notable uplift over AMD’s reference base and boost RX 9070 XT clock speeds of 2400/2970 MHz.

With an asking price of 5799 RMB, this Chinese graphics card’s price is only 16% above AMD’s official MSRP in the region. Not bad for a premium graphics card with three 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Sadly, we don’t expect this GPU to ever become available in Western markets. Unless you are willing to import this GPU, you’ll need to consider something different if you are trying to build a Terminator-themed gaming PC.
