A Redditor by the name of Laxcc has found out that you can run across the map of Fallout 4 in roughly 11 minutes. Laxcc posted his marathon through post-apocalyptic Boston on YouTube, in which he runs through the map in a straight line from the North-West corner of the map to the South-East corner of the map.
Â
Shortly after the video appeared online, it was removed for obvious reasons (NDA’s being breached and all) by ZeniMax Media, the company that owns Bethesda Softworks. There used to be a mirror of the video available, but this has been taken down as well. The video obviously contained a lot of spoilers, so watching the video would’ve ruined a lot of the surprises.
Do note; you can run across the map in a straight line in 11 minutes, ignoring all side activities and indoor locations. It may not sound like much, but it’s actually pretty impressive. The full map of Fallout 4 was leaked yesterday, revealing how big the world of Fallout 4 actually is.
You will be able to explore the world of Fallout 4 starting the 10th of November. Something is telling us that you’ll be spending a lot more time than 11 minutes in post-apocalyptic Boston, though.
UPDATE: the video has been uploaded to Vimeo. Before you watch: this video will ruin a lot of the surprises in Fallout 4, so only watch this video is you don’t mind spoilers. You can watch the video here.
