ZEPHYR and Valkyrie team up to create a liquid cooled RTX 4080 SUPER GPU

ZEPHYR and Valkyrie will soon be launching high-end liquid cooled RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card

Zephyr plans to launch their first liquid cooled graphics card soon, a new RTX 4080 SUPER graphics card model will will feature a custom all-in-one liquid cooling solution. This liquid cooler has been co-developed by a company called Valkyrie, who have reportedly been working with Zephyr since mid-2023.

Based on the company’s teaser video on Bilibili, the Zephyr X Valkyrie RTX 4080 SUPER will be cooled with a 280mm liquid cooling radiator. This radiator is cooled using and twin 140mm fans, and the GPU itself has no fans. The radiator is connected to the graphics card using two white braided hoses. At this time it is unknown exactly how the liquid cooling solution functions.

Zephyr has a cool-running RTX 4080 SUPER

In their reveal video, Zephyr has stated that their graphics card will not exceed temperatures of 52 degrees celcius when running furmark. This is with the fans running at 1350 RPM, which is a relatively low speed. This should make this custom TX 4080 SUPER graphics card a relatively quiet GPU.

Like all high-end RTX 40 series graphics cards, this new RTX 4080 SUPER model is powered using a 12VHPWR connector. This connector is located at the rear of the graphics card. This makes this cable relatively easy to hide when users have 90-degree 12VHPWR cables.

Below we can also see some 3DMARK scores that were achieved with Zephyr’s new RTX 4080 GPU model. This includes scores for 3DMARK Speed Way, Time Spy Extreme, and Fire Strike Ultra.

Based on the graphics card’s video teaser, it is clear that this new RTX 4080 SUPER GPU features RGB illumination across several areas of the GPU. The GPU itself has a primarily silver colour scheme, with the GPU’s liquid cooling radiator being white.

Right now, it is unknown how much this new RTX 4080 SUPER GPU model will cost. It is also unknown if it will ever be available outside of Asia.
