Zotac reveals their custom RTX 2070 series of graphics cards
All of these graphics cards will use the company’s high-end AMP brand name, with their standard AMP Edition offering a boost clock speed of 1740MHz and used a dual-fan cooler design while the AMP Extreme Core and AMP Extreme deliver larger factory overclocks and beefier triple fan cooling solution.Â
Zotac’s triple fan AMP Extreme Edition RTX 2070 graphics cards will also feature a memory overclock, something which is uncommon on most of today’s aftermarket graphics cards. This will bump up the RTX 2070’s memory speeds from 14Gbps to 14.4Gbps, which is enough to bring the card’s total memory bandwidth over the 460GB/s barrier.Â
Strangely, Zotac’s RTX 2070 AMP is listed with support for NVLink, a feature that is not available on Nvidia’s Founders Edition model or with Zotac’s RTX 2070 AMP Extreme models. At this time this is thought to be a mistake in Zotac’s website listing, where they may have used accidentally used images of their RTX 2080 AMP by mistake.Â
