Xbox One Game Streaming on Windows 10 Is hugely popular

Xbox One Game Streaming on Windows 10 Is hugely popular and has a very high level of usage, which is unsurprising given how easy it is to set up and use on Windows 10.

On The Inner Circle Podcast, Mike Ybarra, the Xbox and Windows Director of Program Management had this to say about Xbox One to Windows Streaming.

Game streaming is a really popular feature. I gotta be honest, when we created that, I was like, “how many people would really do this?” but it was huge, like people wanna be able to play their Xbox games on their PCs and devices and anywhere the’re at. So it was nice to see that the usage of that is very high.

Personally I think Microsoft's Xbox One to Windows 10 Streaming is a very valuable feature, allowing gamers to play on their console anywhere in their home. This also opens up the option for the Xbox to be played even while the TV is in use by someone else, making the Xbox much less limited.

Many Windows 10 gamers are currently asking Microsoft to allow the reverse to be possible, by allowing Windows 10 games to be steamed to the Xbox One, though with the affordability of devices like the Steam Link and other In-home streaming Solution, it is unlikely that Microsoft will implement this feature.

Because of "The Inner Circle Special with Mike Ybarra" podcast. Pretty sure the Director of programming for the Xbox Division has an insight.Quote

And? It would be smart to tell everyone how popular it is otherwise just saying it is doesn't really have any impact or perspective to users...Quote
