No ICUE? No Problem! Corsair makes updates easier with their Firmware Update Utility

Corsair enables ICUE-free firmware updates with its web-based Firmware Update Utility

Starting today, users of Corsair peripherals and devices can update their firmware using the company’s web-based Firmware Update Utility. This new tool allows users to update their devices without using Corsair’s ICUE software. All you need is a compatible browser on Windows and macOS.

This new tool supports all Chromium-based browsers, Microsoft Edge, and Opera. The tool makes firmware updates an easy process, and removes the need for Corsair users to install ICUE. This tool works without any software installation or downloads. Everything happens inside your chosen browser.

Currently, this tool only supports a limited number of Corsair peripherals and products. However, the utility’s compatibility list will expand over time.

This tool makes it easier than ever for Corsair users to update the firmware of their products. This is great news for those who use devices with multiple systems, or simply want a lightweight firmware update option that requires no installed software.

Corsair’s new Firmware Update Utility is available here. This utility can work on Linux devices with root permissions, though this has not been extensively tested. Only Windows and macOS are officially supported. Note that Corsair’s iCUE software is also available for Windows and macOS.
