G.Skill announce their new Flare X and FORTIS series of Ryzen ready DDR4 memory kits

On the high end comes G.Skill’s new Flare X series, which comes with some impressive clock speeds and CAS timings, with their 3200MHz kit coming with CL14-14-14-34 timings and their 3466MHz kit coming with CL16-16-16-36 timings. At this time it is unknown how these low memory timings will affect Ryzen’s CPU performance     

At this time it is unknown how these low memory timings will affect Ryzen’s CPU performance, though it is expected to have a larger impact that what can be seen on Intel-based CPU platforms.      

G.Skill’s 3200MHz kit is of particular interest, as its 14-14-14-34 timings are lower than what is seen on most premium, lower-speed memory kits, nevermind a high-end 3000MHz memory kit.       

 

These new Flare X and FORTIS series memory kits will be available in DDR4-2133MHz and DDR4-2400MHz on release with various capacity configurations that range from 16-64GB. Flare X series will be available in higher memory frequency speeds of DDR4-3200MHz and DDR4-3466MHz with enhanced memory timings.

 

  

 

These new Flare X and FORTIS series memory kits will be available in March, with availability through G.Skill’s worldwide network of distributors.
