With Panther Lake, Intel moves to 18A lithography and aims to deliver significantly improved performance/watt compared with its last-generation CPU models. This means Intel’s newest laptops should offer longer battery life and deliver higher performance in power-constrained scenarios. If Intel achieved these aims, 2026 could prove to be a turning point for the company.
