Cooler Master has already revealed their X Silent Edge and X Silent Max PSUs, but those aren’t the only power supplies that Cooler Master will be showing us at CES 2024. Meet the X Mighty, a new 2000W power supply from Cooler Master. This PSU shares many of the technological underpinnings of the X Silent series, but delivers much more power.
Sadly, we do not know much about this new power supply yet. All we know is that this PSU will feature dual 12VHPWR connectors and be able to deliver up to 2000 watts of power. This PSU is powerful enough to two AMD EPYC or Intel XEON processors or up to four RTX 4090 graphics cards. Not bad for a single power supply.
Like the X Silent Edge and X Silent Max, Cooler Master’s X Mighty power supply appears to be cooled using a Cooler Master Mobius series fan.
The X Mighty series features Detailed monitoring with MasterCTRL
Thanks to Cooler Master’s MasterCTRL software, X Mighty and X Silent PSU users can monitor the thermals, fans speeds, and efficiency levels of their power supply whenever they want. Users will also be able to control some of their PSU’s parameters. Sadly, we do not know what exactly is controllable within software.
Using MasterCTRL, Cooler Master PSU users should be able to see how much power their system is drawing at any given time and monitor how hot their PSU is getting under load.
