Agony’s final release date revealed alongside a new “Announce Trailer”

Madman Studios has revealed their new release date for Agony alongside a new “Announcement Trailer” for the title, confirming that the game will be released on May 29th on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, two months after the game’s original lunch date.

Agony is a survival horror game set in hell, where players take the role of a tormented soul without any memories of their past. Gamers will have the ability to control the minds of people/creatures within the world, giving them the means to survive and hopefully escape.

The game has been built using the Unreal Engine 4, painting a suitably horrific picture of hell with a lot of environmental detail and advanced lighting effects. Agony is not a game for the squeamish. Below is the Agony’s new “announce trailer”.

You will begin your journey as a tormented soul within the depths of hell, without any memories about your past.

The special ability to control people on your path, and even possess simple minded demons, gives you the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions you are in.

By exploring the hostile environment and interacting with other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require meeting the mystical Red Goddess.

So for, Agony’s Steam listing has not been updated with the game’s new release date, with the game’s description still listing March 29th as the game’s release date. The game’s Steam listing also lacks any pricing info for the game at this time.
