Assassin’s Creed Mirage now has a free DLSS 3 Frame Generation Mod

PC gamers can now use DLSS Frame Generation in Assassin’s Creed Mirage thanks to this mod

Thanks to LukeFZ, PC gamers can now use Nvidia’s DLSS 3 Frame Generation technology in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. While other DLSS 3 mods are available for this game, this is the first DLSS 3 mod that is available for free.

LukeFZ is quickly becoming one of PC gaming’s most famed game modders, thanks to their efforts to add Nvidia’s DLSS 3 technology to the latest PC releases. Last month, LukeFZ released Starfield’s first free DLSS 3 mod, and earlier this month he added DLSS 3 to Lies of P, a Bloodborne-like PC game.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage launched with support for Nvidia DLSS,  AMD FSR 2, and Intel XeSS. Sadly, the game’s DLSS support was limited to DLSS Super Resolution, with the game lacking DLSS 3’s Frame Generation feature. With LikeFZ’s mod, AMD’s FSR 2 implementation can be replaced with DLSS 3 in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. This allows gamers to use Nvidia’s DLSS Frame Generation technology to the game alongside AI upscaling. Once the mod is installed, set FSR to your preferred quality level, and DLSS 3 will be enabled instead with Frame Generation enabled.

Obviously, this DLSS 3 Frame Generation mod is only useful to RTX 40 series GPU users. With DLSS Super Resolution already being available, RTX 20/30 series GPU owners have no need for this mod. That said, LukeFZ’s mod also adds a toggle for Chromatic Aberration.

Where to download Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s free DLSS 3 mod

Gamers who want to use LukeFZ’s Lies of P DLSS 3 mod can download it from Nexus mods. Full installation instructions for the mod are available there. It is unknown of LukeFZ also plans to release FSR 3 mods for games. AMD has not released their full FSR 3 SDK yet, a factor that makes FSR 3 mods impossible.
