Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available to play for free this weekend

Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey will be available to play for free this weekend on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, allowing gamers to travel across ancient Greece between March 19th and 22nd.

With this free weekend, gamers will get access to the full game, aside from Odyssey’s DLC content. Those who decide to purchase the game later will be able to retain their save files from this free trial. During this free trial period, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be available with a 75% discount.

PC gamers and PlayStation 4 players are currently able to pre-load Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s game files, which will allow you to spend more of Ubisoft’s free trial gaming and less time downloading.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey fully transitions the series into the RPG genre, taking some of its aspects from popular titles like The Witcher 3. Naval combat returns in a big way with this release, allowing gamers to experience some of the best aspects of Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag in a new setting.

Odyssey is so large that the game can offer 150 hours of gameplay with ease, thanks to the game’s wealth of content outside of the main story. This means that you will not be able to experience everything that Odyssey has to offer during this free trial period.
