Assetto Corsa Competizione is now available on Steam Early Access
Early players will be able to purchase this Unreal Engine 4 racing sim with a 44% discount, granting players access to the game for £22.49, while also offering players the full 1.0 version at no extra cost as well as the game’s 2019 season content as a free update.Â
As the game is developed further, Competizione will also receive support for Nvidia’s RTX technology, bringing Real-Time Ray Tracing to the title, though this feature will be exclusive to supported Nvidia RTX graphics hardware. Â
Â
At Gamescom 2018, Kunos Simulazioni showcased Ray Traced Reflections, Shadows and Ambient Occlusion, though at this time it is not known how Assetto Corsa Competizione will utilise Ray Tracing when RTX support is officially added to the game. Â
Below are the PC system requirements for Assetto Corsa Competizione, though these requirements are expected to change as the game is developed further. Kunos states that they plan to offer players the “best level of quality and optimization” possible, which hopefully means that the final game will have lower hardware requirements.Â
