ASUS brings Android Wear 2.0 to their ZenWatch 3

ASUS brings Android Wear 2.0 to their ZenWatch 3
Â
ASUS has officially announced that they have released a new Android Wear 2.0 update for their ZenWatch 3 smartwatch, bringing several new features to the devices that will make it easier to use and much more customisable.Â
Â
Android Wear 2.0 brings a lot more direct access to smart watches, like the ability to access the Google Play Store directly, not only through a secondary device and will allow users to install apps at will. This update also brings Google Assistant to the platform, allowing users to ask their watch question and perform tasks like setting alarms, talk about the weather and updating shopping lists using voice chat functions alone.Â
Â
The update also allows users to respond to texts and other messages easily, either through direct typing, handwriting and dictating. These features work for WhatsApp, Facebook Messanger, Glide, Google Messanger and Hangouts.Â
 Â
 Â
With Android Wear 2.0, users will also get new ZenFit functions, which will allow users to count repetitions when using more gym exercise equipment like a shoulder press, butterfly machines, chest presses and lateral pull-down machines, in addition to the watches existing features that allow push ups and sit-ups to be counted.Â
This update greatly improves the functionality of the ZenWatch 3, transforming it into a much more capable tool.Â
