Battlefield V’s Firestorm Battle Royale mode will release in March 2019
The first major piece of DLC to come to the game is the title’s “The Last Tiger” War Story, which follows a German Tank Crew towards the end of the war, as they reflect and question the ideology that has brought them to the point of certain defeat. At the same time, a new multiplayer map called Panzerstorm will arrive, placing players in a tank-focused arena across the Belgian countryside. A Practice Range mode is also set to come to the game with this content update.Â
Between January and March, Battlefield V will be updated to add “Lightning Stikes” and new “Tides of War” content to the game, while also adding a co-operative “Combined Arms” mode the game.Â
In March 2019, Criterion’s Firestorm “Battle Royale” mode will come to Battlefield V, offering an alternative to Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode. This mode will pit players in a shrinking map, mixing the best elements of Battlefield with the emerging genre that is Battle Royale. Expect a lot of environmental destruction, vehicular combat and intense quad-vs -squad gameplay.Â
Battlefield V will release on PC, Xbox One and PS4 on November 20th, with owners of the game’s Deluxe Edition receiving early access on November 15th. Subscribers to Origin Access Premium will gain access to the game on November 9th, with Origin/EA access subscribers getting access to “Play First” trials for the game.Â
