Blizzard has revealed World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth’s release date

World of Warcraft’s next major expansion, Battle for Azeroth, now has a firm release date, giving soldiers of the Alliance and peoples of the Horde to prepare themselves for the battles ahead. 

Battle for Azeroth will release on August 14th, offering player new lands to conquer and explore, new races to ally with or fight against as both factions hunt for Azerite, a powerful resource that has appeared on Azeroth in the aftermath of the game’s Legion expansion. 

Those who pre-purchase Battle for Azeroth will receive a copy of Legion to play today, which includes a Level 110 Character boost and gives gamers access to all of World of Warcraft’s content, though remember that the game uses a subscription-based payment model. 

Right now, Battle for Azeroth is available for Pre-order for £34.99 in the UK, with Blizzard also offering hardcore fans a Collector’s Edition for $99, which includes a Double-Sided storybook containing two novellas, a single story/event as told from an Alliance and Horde perspectives. These novellas will also hold original artwork, and the game’s Collectors Edition will also ship with other unique physical and in-game content.     On August 14, the Battle for Azeroth will begin! Prepare for war as the Alliance and the Horde go head to head in the latest World of Warcraft expansion. Explore the kingdoms of Zandalar and Kul Tiras, gather Azerite on uncharted islands, and strike at the opposing faction in Warfronts.
