Call of Duty: Black ops 4’s Battle Royale map revealed

Activision and Treyarch have officially unveiled Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale map, which is designed to include several locations that the Black Ops fanbase will be familiar with.

Black Ops fans will know that Nuketown Island will be based on the series’ iconic Nuketown map, with Fracking Tower and Asylum also making an appearance.

The map itself appears similar to that of other battle Royale games, featuring lots of coastline with large forested areas and dessert sections, all of which is broken up by several residential and industrial locations. Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale modes deliver an exciting mixture of nostalgia and classic Battle Royale map design, which will likely prove popular with existing Call of Duty players.

Call of Duty Black ops 4’s Battle Royale mode will be playable with up to 80 players, each of which will take the role of characters from the Black Ops series like Frank Woods, Victor Reznov, Alex Mason and many others. At launch, this mode will have 20 characters to choose from, but more may become available over time.
