Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 coming to Game Pass on Day-1 – Microsoft Confirms

Early Android/iOS notification confirms that Black Ops 6 is coming to Game Pass on Day 1

Thanks to a push notifications on iOS and Android devices, Microsoft has officially confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on Game Pass on day-1 later this year. This news was reported by Tom Warren today on Twitter/X.

This early notification links to an unpublished Microsoft/Xbox Blog. This blog will go live in the near future, officially revealing that Call of Duty is coming to Game Pass.

Microsoft plans officially showcase Black Ops 6 on June 9th. This showcase will be called “Black Ops 6 Direct”, which will be hosted after this year’s Xbox Games Showcase. This year’s Xbox Game Showcase will be the first major gaming event that Microsoft will be hosting after the acquisition of Activision Blizzard. As a result, this event will include games from Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, and Microsoft Gaming. This should make this upcoming Xbox event one of the largest gaming event in Microsoft’s history.

The addition of the Call of Duty franchise will add a lot of value to Game Pass. It makes Xbox the cheapest place to access the latest Call of Duty games. This change should help Microsoft increase their subscription numbers. Additionally, it may convince more gamers to purchase Xbox Series consoles. After all, Game Pass is not available on PlayStation.
