Call of Duty Modern Warfare III receives its finalised PC system requirements and a new PC trailer

Here’s what you need to run Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III on PC

Activision has released their finalised PC system requirements for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The game’s coming to PC on November 10th, with pre-orderers receiving early access to the game’s campaign one week early. On PC, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be available on Steam and Battle.net.

On PC, Modern Warfare 3 will have over 500 customisation options and an in-depth graphical options menu. The game will support Nvidia’s DLSS 3 technology on day-1, and will support Nvidia Reflex and RICOCHET anti-cheat. The game also officially supports Ultra-wide monitors.

At this time, only DLSS support is mentioned in any of Modern Warfare III’s promotional materials. Modern Warfare II supported DLSS, FSR, and XeSS, and it is likely that its successor will as well. Nvidia are the PC sponsor of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. That should explain the heavy promotion of DLSS and Nvidia Reflex.

Like most modern PC games, Activision’s newest Call of Duty title recommends SSD storage for optimal gameplay. On PC, Modern Warfare III does not feature support for ray tracing. This makes sense given Call of Duty’s focus on high framerate multiplayer gameplay. GPUs with as little as 2GB of VRAM can run the game. That said, Activision recommends 8GB graphics cards to play Modern Warfare 3.

For 4K gameplay at Ultra, three GPUs are recommended. These GPUs are Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4070, GeForce RTX 3080 and AMD’s Radeon RX 6800 XT.
