Capcom Launches their “Final” Devil May Cry Trailer

Capcom has released their “Final” trailer for Devil May Cry 5, giving gamers another glimpse of the soon to be released title. The game follows the numbered entries of the series, with Ninja Theory’s “DMC” taking place in an alternative universe, with both Nero and Dante returning as series protagonists.

In Devil May Cry 5, Nero, a young demon hunter, enters Red Grave City to face the cities demon infestation alongside a new ally called Nico. A third protagonist called V has also joined the game’s playable cast, though at this time relatively little is known about the character.

Devil May Cry 5 was developed using Capcom’s RE engine, which was used to create both Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 2’s 2019 remake, both of which shipped with high-quality PC versions. Given Capcom’s partnership with AMD, the same treatment is expected in Devil May Cry 5’s PC version.

The trailer below explores the story of Devil May Cry 5, which means that it contains spoilers for the game. Capcom themselves also call these spoilers in their trailer description, “though they may be very motivating…”.
