Codemasters reveals DiRT Rally 2.0’s Minimum PC System Requirements

Last week, Codemasters officially unveiled DiRT Rally 2.0, a sequel to 2015’s critically acclaimed DiRT Rally, with plans to release the game in February 2019 on PC, Xbox One and PS4 simultaneously.

With this release, Codemasters plans to return the DiRT series to the hardcore roots of the Rally series, where players can drive “knowing that the smallest mistake could end your stage”. DiRT Rally 2.0 will feature eight official WRX tracks from the official World Rallycross Championship, as well as locations from Argentina, Spain, Poland, Australia and the USA.

On the PC, DiRT Rally 2.0 will require hardware that is much more powerful than it’s predecessor, shipping with an 8GB system memory requirement, a 2x increase over its predecessor. Thankfully, DiRT Rally 2.0’s minimum requirements changes remain similar on the CPU-side, with the game’s graphics requirements increasing significantly.

DiRT Rally 2.0 dares you to carve your way through a selection of iconic rally locations from across the globe, in the most powerful off-road vehicles ever made, knowing that the smallest mistake could end your stage.

On the graphics side, Codemasters lists DiRT Rally 2.0 with a minimum graphics requirement of a GTX 650 Ti or a Radeon HD 7750. For context, the first DiRT Rally game required an AMD HD 5450 or a Geforce GT 430. At the time of writing, DiRT Rally 2.0 doesn’t have any recommended system requirements listed on Steam.
