Crysis Remastered’s trailer leaks online – release date revealed

Crytek’s first gameplay trailer for Crysis Remastered is due to release tomorrow, but that hasn’t stopped a lot of early information from leaking onto the internet.

The Microsoft Store has revealed that Crysis Remastered will release on July 23rd, and has allowed the trailer below to be viewed and uploaded to 3rd party video platforms, allowing people to see the “Microsoft Store Trailer” for the title. This may not be the same trailer as Crytek’s Crysis Remastered Gameplay trailer.

What should be noted is that this trailer reveals that Crysis Remastered is a remaster, not a remake. The game looks very similar to Crysis’ original PC version, albeit with a lot of graphical upgrades. These upgrades include Temporal Anti-Aliasing, improved art assets, high-quality textures, SSDO, SVOGI, parallax occlusion and new particle effects. The PC version of the game will also include Crytek’s hardware-agnostic software ray tracing.

Crysis Remastered is due to release on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch later this month.
