So what happens to all of the characters, loot and other items that are linked to my Battle.net account? Does that move to Steam as well? Yes, yes, it does. Bungie has announced that Destiny 2 players on PC will be able to link their Battle.net and Steam accounts. This move will ensure that their players; Guardians, items and progress will be available to them when Destiny 2 has moved to Steam.
This transfer will be available at no cost, as Bungie hopes to make the transition as seamless and straightforward as possible. Starting today, players of Destiny 2 can sign up for an email notification for the transfer, which will let them know when they will be able to transfer their progress to Steam.
