Destiny 2’s 1st Expansion has been revealed – Curse of Osiris

Activision has officially revealed Destiny 2’s 1st expansion, which will be called Curse of Osiris, which is set to add more story-based content as well as new competitive and co-operative mission types.

This expansion will be one of two Destiny 2 expansions that will be available as part of Destiny 2’s Expansion Pass, with this first add-on becoming available on December 5th on all platforms. Expansion II for Destiny 2 is expected to release in Spring 2018, though at this time no details about this expansion have been released.

Destiny fans can look forward to new areas to explore in Mercury, new weapons, armour and gear to earn and more in-game activities to take part in. In short, this expansion provides more variety to the game and effectively gives player more of what the base game has to offer, which is great news for existing fans.

Destiny 2 Expansion I: Curse of Osiris continues your Guardian’s journey with all-new story missions and adventures set in a new destination, Mercury. Journey through time and space to learn the secrets of Osiris, avert a dark future, and rebuild the ties between the legendary Warlock and his greatest student – Ikora Rey. Expansion I: Curse of Osiris arrives December 5. Purchase the Destiny 2 Expansion Pass and get access to both Expansion I and Expansion II.

PC players will be happy to see that this new DLC will be available on PC and consoles at the same time, which means that PC gamers will not need to wait for this additional content any longer than console users.
