Destiny 2’s PC release date has been revealed
Â
Activision has revealed Destiny 2’s release date on PC, confirming that it will be after the game’s initial release on consoles.Â
Â
On PS4 and Xbox One the game will release on September 6th, whereas on PC the game will release on October 24th, giving PC gamers an extra month to read early reviews for the console versions and benefit from any other improvements that are made to the game during its launch window on consoles.Â
Bungie promises to deliver PC gamers an optimised version of the game, complete with support for 4K resolutions, unlocked framerates, Field of View (FoV) options and a wide range of other graphical settings. PC will be the only place where solid 60FPS gameplay will be possible in Destiny 2.Â
Â
Â
Welcome to a world without Light. Led by the invading Dominus Ghaul, the Red Legionâs brutal attack on humanityâs Last City has left Guardians powerless and scattered. Now, in our darkest hour, new legends must rise to challenge Ghaul and take back our Light.
Â
If you are a fan of steady 60FPS gameplay, PC will be your platform of choice for Destiny 2, though you will have to wait a while longer before you can get started with Bungie’s latest MMO-style FPS.
