Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is coming to PC

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake is launching on Steam on November 14th

Earlier his week, Square Enix revealed Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake at Nintendo Direct. Now, its clear that the game isn’t just coming to Nintendo’s Switch handheld. This remaster is also coming to PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

For this remake, Square Enix will be utilising the company’s popular HD-2D art style. Pixel art if fused with 3D graphics to give this remake a classic feel with stunning visuals. All three original “Erdrick trilogy” Dragon Quest games are getting remade, with Dragon Quest III being the first to receive this treatment. Why start with 3? It’s the first game in the trilogy, chronologically speaking.

On PC, Square Enux’s Dragon Quest HD-2D remakes will be launching on Valve’s Steam platform. Below are the game’s PC system requirements.

    • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 / Intel Core i3-6100
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 460 / Intel Arc A380 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750
    • DirectX: Version 12
    • Storage: 20 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: 1280×720, Graphics Preset “Lowest”, 60FPS / 16GB RAM required when using Intel Arc GPU

RECOMMENDED:

    • OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11 64-bit
    • Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 / Intel Core i3-6100
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 470 / Intel Arc A580 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
    • DirectX: Version 12
    • Storage: 20 GB available space
    • Additional Notes: 1920×1080, Graphics Preset “Highest”, 60FPS / 16GB RAM required when using Intel Arc GPU
