E3 confirms the prescience of an RPG from CD Projekt Red

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was phenomenally popular on all platforms, selling well on PC, PS4 and Xbox One long after the game’s 2015 launch. Given CD Projekt Red’s popularity in the RPG gaming scene, gamers are awaiting the company’s next project with eager anticipation, which is currently rumoured to be one of E3 2018’s premier reveals.

Thanks to E3’s official schedule, we can confirm that CD Projekt Red will be showcasing a new RPG at this year’s E3, a game which is undoubtedly Cyberpunk 2077, the developer’s only announced post-Witcher RPG. The game will release on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

At this time not much is known about Cyberpunk 2077, with recent rumours suggesting that it will offer gamers both first person and third person viewpoints and will not come with any microtransactions. Cyberpunk is expected to receive expansion DLC like The Witcher 3.
