EA releases 20 minutes of Dragon Age: The Veilguard gameplay

Here’s 20 minutes of Dragon Age: The Veilguard gameplay footage

EA has released 20 minutes of gameplay footage for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which is due release in “Fall 2024”. The game will be launched on PC as well as Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5.

Previously, Dragon Age: The Veilguard was known as Dragon Age: Dreadwolf. The game is an action RPG from BioWare, the studio behind Mass Effect, and is based on EA’s Frostbite engine.

The gameplay video below showcases the game’s environments, characters, dialogue trees, and combat mechanics. The trailer below runs at 60 FPS. This suggests that the game will run at high framerates on PC and consoles. Currently, it is unknown if this game will support advanced graphical features like ray tracing.

On PC, The Veilguard will be available through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA App. Currently, the game has no system requirements or an exact release date.

After the release of The Veilguard, BioWare will shift their focus to their next Mass Effect game. Last November, BioWare celebrated N7 Day with a Mass Effect teaser.
