EA releases Battlefield 5’s Gamescom 2018 Devastation of Rotterdam trailer
The trailer showcases what appears to be multiplayer gameplay as well as what could be a tease of the game’s planned Battle Royale mode, showcasing a circle of flames which encircles players into an increasingly compact section of a map, a mechanic which is common within the emerging genre.Â
So far, Pre-orders have been reportedly poor for Battlefield V, with many series elites blaming the change on Battlefield’s movement away from historical accuracy and towards arcade-style gameplay. Â

Battlefield V is set to release on October 19th on PS4, Xbox One and PC, shipping with traditional multiplayer modes, a single player “War Stories” mode and a Battle Royale mode.Â
