Ubisoft plans to make this mode the most extensive level editor that the company has created to date, offering assets from Far Cry 4, Primal, Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag, Unity and Watch Dogs, with plans to release more usable assets post-launch alongside Far Cry 5’s DLC content. At launch, the mode will have over 9,000 assets, with no restriction on how these items can be used within custom maps.
Alongside player created maps, Ubisoft also plans to build their own custom content within the level editor, highlighting what can be done within the game. Custom maps/modes can be shared online, allowing these maps to be used in PvP and Co-op sessions online.
Far Cry 5 will release on March 27th on PC, Xbox One and PS4, with maps from Far Cry Arcade being shareable across all three platforms. Far Cry 5’s PC system requirements are available to read below.
