The game will launch on March 6th and support resolutions of up to 8K, HDR10 playback as well as offer support for modding. The game will be available to pre-purchase on February 1st on Steam, Origin and the Windows 10 Store, each of which offers an exclusive piece of bonus content (for preorders). The Windows Store will provide the game’s FFXV Powerup Pack, the Steam version will offer the FFXV Fashion Collection, and the Origin version will offer the FFXV Decal Selection.Â
The game’s developers also plan to release benchmarking software for the title on February 1st, allowing PC gamers to see how well the game will run on their systems. The tool will give tested systems a score, which will indicate how well the game will run on a user’s system.Â
