Focus Home Interactive has released Vampyr’s PC system requirements
Vampyr will release on June 5th and will be around 20GB in size, requiring a 64-bit OS like most modern games and a minimum of 8GB of system memory and a quad-threaded CPU.Â
Moving up to the game’s recommended system requirements, Vampyr seems to be a huge CPU hog, with DONTNOD advising that players use an Intel i7 3930K/AMD Ryzen 5 1600 or higher in their systems. It is rare to see 6-core 12-thread CPUs in a game’s recommended system requirements. Vampyr also lists 16GB of system memory in their recommended system specifications. Â

Below is Vampyr’s “Story Trailer”, which sets the scene for the game. Players will take the role of Dr Jonathan Reid, a man who is fighting to find a cure for the disease which ravages the city while combating his recently acquired Vampyrism.Â

Looking at the game’s GPU requirements, we can see that DONTNOD offers similarly performing recommendations for both Nvidia Geforce and AMD Radeon users, suggesting that the game will play well with both GPU brands. Â
