Gears of War 4’s May update will add Multi-GPU support to the game

The Coalition has announced that Gears of War 4’s May update will be adding Multi-GPU support to the game’s PC version. This update will be arriving on the Windows 10 store later today and will also be adding two new maps to the game.

The first of these two new maps is Security, a popular Gears of War 2 map that has been recreated for Gears of War 4, with the second map being a whole new creation called Dawn, which is modelled after an outsider village.

We are excited to announce that Multi-GPU support arrives with the May Update for our Windows 10 players! Our Windows 10 team have been hard at work implementing support for users who use multiple graphics card setups, and now fans can take full advantage of their setup to really push the stunning visuals of Gears of War 4.

With Gear of War 4 being such a demanding PC release, especially at high resolutions, it is great to see that the Coalition has finally implemented multi-GPU support, making high framerates at increased resolutions all the more feasible.
