God of War is now available DRM-free on GOG

Another PlayStation classic has arrived on GOG

Starting today, Sony’s God of War is now available on PC though GOG. This allows PC gamers access the game DRM-free for the first time, and to celebrate the game has launched with a 50% discount.

Like all games on GOG, God of War is DRM-free. That means that the game can be played without any internet access and without a launcher, like Steam. That said, for simplicity GOG does have their own launched called GOG Galaxy that gamers can utilise. If you use GOG Galaxy, this game supports cloud saves, and achievements.

On GOG, Kratos’ PC adventure can be enjoyed with the same features and benefits of the game’s other PC versions. Like all PC versions of the game, PC gamers can play the game at beyond PS4/PS5 graphical settings, and utilise advanced features like DLSS upscaling. The game also supports ultra-wide resolutions, which can make the game a more cinematic experience.

Many of Sony’s other PlayStation PC games have made it to GOG, such as Horizon: Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection.
