Google Chrome 64 is now available in beta – sound blocked on autoplaying videos
Chrome 64 has now entered beta, allowing the public to access the browser’s enhanced pop-up blocking features and disable sound on a site-by-site basis, making the browser a lot more user-friendly.Â
Those who are interested in this beta version of Chrome can download it here, adding features like HDR playback on Windows 10 provided the user has an HDR compliant display and graphics card.
Users of Chrome 64 can disable sounds on a website after clicking on the Grey exclamation point or Green Lock at the left of a website URL. Here users can access “Site Settings”, which will allow sounds to be disabled on the website. With this change, users can say goodbye to annoying audio ads or noise from autoplaying videos.  Â
