Halo: Reach’s first PC Flights will happen “in a matter of weeks”
In a recent email, 343 Industries informed us that “flights” for Halo: Reach would start on both PC and Xbox One “in a matter of weeks”, which means that in development builds of the game will soon be available to insiders for testing.Â
Test flights of Halo will be available as in-development slices or builds of the game, with each flight being design as a test for specific features or for bug finding/fixing purposes. Only selected users will be given access to Halo Insider builds, which means that signing up for the program does not guarantee early access. Learn more about signing up become to Halo Insider here.  Â
As test flights for Halo start, expect the rollout to be small and expand over time. On PC factors which will help determine Insider selection will be familiarity with the series, preferences (as selected when signing up to the Halo Insiders program), availability and PC hardware specifications. If selected, gamers will be sent an email which will contain all the instructions that are necessary to join each Halo Reach flight. Â
Future flights for Halo will include the to-be-released PC versions of each game in The Master Chief Collection, as well as future entries in the Halo series such as Halo: Infinite.Â
