Hitman 2 will feature all of Hitman Season 1’s content – “Remastered and Enhanced”

IO Interactive has announced that Hitman 2 will feature updated versions of Hitman Season 1’s content through the game’s “Hitman Legacy Pack” which will be free to owners of Hitman 2016.

This content will offer the same levels and missions as Hitman Season One, but offer players “remastered and enhanced” graphics, Hitman 2’s AI enhancements and progression system as well as new weapons and items. In the trailer below Agent 47’s briefcase, a dart gun and flash grenades are shown, though more weapons are likely to become available.

Other improvements like Hitman 2’s high-fidelity crowd system will also significantly improve the game’s atmosphere, especially in people-filled levels like the Paris “Showstopper” stage.

The Hitman 2 Legacy Pack will allow series veterans to replay these levels on new ways and enable newcomers to experience last season’s content with both graphical and gameplay enhancements.

Hitman 2 is also set to introduce co-op play to the series, though this option will probably not be available in Legacy pack missions.
