Immortal Empires comes to all Total War Warhammer III players with patch 2.4
Immortal Empires no longer requires all three Total War Warhammer games to access
Patch 2.4 has just been released for Total War Warhammer III, and it has opened up the game’s Immortal Empires mode to ALL owners of Total War Warhammer III. Previously, this game mode was only available to owners of all three Total War Warhammer games, a factor that required newcomers to the series to buy three games at once.Â
Now, Immortal Empires is available to all owners of Total War Warhammer III, giving players access to all of the factions that they own within Total War Warhammer III. This means that Total War Warhammer I and Total War Warhammer II factions will require their respective games to become playable within Immortal Empires, which means that Immortal Empires players will need to own additional games if they wish to play as The Empire, Dwarfs, Elves or other Total War Warhammer I/II factions.Â
As of today, Total War Warhammer III’s Immortal Empires mode has also exited its beta phase, making today the official release date of Total War Warhammer III’s Immortal Empires mode. More content is coming to Immortal Empires in the future, as are additional fixes and improvements. For gamers, all that’s changed is that Creative Assembly now feels that Immortal Empires is complete enough to no longer need the “beta” tag.Â
Patch 3.0 is coming!Â
Total War Warhammer III’s next major update will be patch 3.0, what is now expected to be Total War Warhammer III’s largest content drop to date. In the trailer below, Creative Assembly have teased what appear to be the Chaos Dwarfs faction, which means that gamers can expect new campaign DLC for Total War Warhammer III in the near-term future.Â
