Insomniac’s already working on a PC version of Marvel’s Wolverine

An early PC build of Marvel’s Wolverine has leaked onto the web

Insomniac Games’ data leak has resulted in a lot of new information hitting the web. For starters we have Sony’s PlayStation PC sales figures. Next we have Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s PC release plans. Now, we have a leaked PC build of Marvel’s Wolverine..

Gamers on Reddit have already downloaded and tried the PC build of Marvel’s Wolverine for themselves. The demo is an early version of the game that contains a few tutorial sequences and combat encounters. Hackers are already distributing fake versions of this PC build online. With this in mind, we do not recommend that anyone tries to find or download this leaked Wolverine build.

What this leak confirms is that a PC version of Insomniac’s Wolverine game is already in the works. This does not means that the game will be launching on both PC and PlayStation on the same day. Sony will likely launch the game on PlayStation 5 exclusively, just like all of their other AAA releases.

Insomniac’s data leaks have also confirmed that Sony’s license agreement with Marvel stipulates that all of Insomniac’s upcoming X-Men games need to have a PC version. Insomniac’s current game roadmap sees Marvel’s Venom launching in 2025 and Marvel’s Wolverine arriving in 2026.
