Intel achieves up to 149% performance gains in Starfield with their latest ARC GPU driver

The latest Intel ARC GPU drivers are optimised for Starfield, Modern Warfare III, Total War Pharoah, and Lords of the Fallen

Today has been a big day for Intel’s GPU division. Intel’s ARC A580 graphics card has now launched. Not only that, a new game update for Starfield has addressed the game’s stability issues on Intel ARC graphics cards.

Intel has released their new 31.0.101.4887 graphics driver for ARC, and Iris Xe graphics. This new driver from Intel delivers game-specific optimisations for Starfield, Modern Warfare III, Total War Pharoah, Lords of the Fallen, F1 23, and Forza Motorsport.

When playing Starfield at 1080p Ultra settings, Intel says that their new ARC graphics drivers can deliver 117% performance gains. With 1440p high settings, larger performance gains of 149% are possible in Starfield. These are crazy high performance gains for a mere driver update.

Below are the release notes of Intel’s new 31.0.101.4887 graphics driver. Intel GPU users can download this driver here.
