Lords of the Fallen’s latest update brings new optimisations and a “Cinematic” graphics mode

Lords of the Fallen now runs better than ever on PC

Thanks to update 1.1.560, Lords of the Fallen has received a new optimisation pass on PC and other platforms. This should allow the game to run significantly better on all gaming systems. Console gamers have received the same update as PC gamers. This has increased Lords of the Fallen’s framerate stability on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

This is not the first optimisation update that Lords of the Fallen has received. Update 1.1.243 also optimised the game. Update 1.1.560 gives Lords of the Fallen another performance boost, making the game run much better than the game’s day-1 version.

For users of low-end hardware, Lords of the Fallen’s low graphics profile has been adjusted to give PC gamers a larger performance boost. A new “Cinematic” graphical preset has also been added to give the game a graphical boost. This new graphical option is designed for higher-end gaming PCs, making fuller use of Unreal Engine 5’s graphical feature set.

Alongside these optimisation and graphical changes, Hexworks has also implemented a large number of bug fixes. Lords of the Fallen has also become Steam Deck Verified.
